Serving Raleigh County in the West Virginia House of Delegates
In January 2026, Rev. John K. Jordan was appointed by Governor Patrick Morrisey to represent the 42nd District in the West Virginia House of Delegates, serving the people of Raleigh County.
Originally from Parkersburg, West Virginia, Delegate Jordan brings decades of leadership, service, and community involvement to the legislature.
Since 1998, he has served as Lead Pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Beckley, guiding his congregation and supporting families throughout the region. Beyond the church, he serves as Assistant Superintendent of the Appalachian Ministry Network and as a General Presbyter for the General Council of the Assemblies of God.
Since 2000, he has also served the community as Chaplain at Raleigh General Hospital, offering spiritual care and comfort to patients and their families during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Delegate Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Cumberlands and a Master of Science in Church Leadership from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Stephanie, are the proud parents of three children: Nathaniel, Lydia, and Thaddaeus.
